SEND – Special Education Needs and Disability

“If, as teachers, we increase our understanding of who we teach and what we teach, we are more likely to be flexible in how we teach” (Tomlinson and Eidson, 2003)

We aim to work with the following groups:

  • Children who are in care
  • Children who are at risk of exclusion
  • Missing children, or at risk of being missing from the system (not on roll)
  • Homeless children
  • Children with disabilities - a modified curriculum will be developed
